There are six of these continuous cheese block formers for sale,
four identical round units
and two square units.

Their capacity is one ton an hour each in 20 kilogram blocks.

The Tetra Tebel Blockformer consists of four parts:- tower, base unit, interceptor and vacuum pump. These parts are connected through locally installed piping during installation.

There are eleven of these continuous cheese block formers for sale, they are around 4.5m long and with block formers on the base.



OPERATION OF TOWERS

The curd is sucked to the top of the tower by the air stream created by the vacuum pump. As soon as the tower is full, the curd supply is stopped and a high vacuum is drawn on the tower to consolidate the curd column. At the required moment the guillotine opens and the curd column lowers onto the elevator plate. The elevator cylinder now accurately lowers to the cutting position and allows the block to settle in the chamber.

During the lowering phase the tower is under atmospheric pressure and the chamber is under vacuum. This causes a differential pressure over the curd column that aids in lowering the column in the chamber without block breakages. This patented principle is unique to the Tetra Tebel Blockformer.

When the settling time is over, the guillotine closes and a pre-press force is applied by the elevator cylinder. In the meantime the blockfiller is re-filling. The block is ejected by fully lowering the elevator plate, opening the door and ejecting the block into the bag, that has been manually placed on the bag spread assembly. The unit now returns to its rest position and is ready to start the next cycle.
