LOUW Northern Farming is a startup project looking for private investors to raise N$ 35 800 000.00 (Namibian Dollars) in total. The projected returns are 21% (ROI) which will be paid back annually over a six year period (2020 – 2025). Investors involvement in the project is not limited at this stage and changes can be negotiated that benefits both parties.
The company will grow and harvest 72 000 heads of lettuce/cabbage/ broccoli/ cauliflower, 3 ton herbs and 3 ton Tilapia fish on a monthly basis. We will use proven aquaponic and hydroponic systems and grow all fresh produce in greenhouse tunnels. Our management has received technical training on the systems who will guide and train the general staff on a full-time basis. All operations will take place on a 455 hectare plot between Tsumeb and Grootfontein which is located in the Oshikoto region, Namibia. The project is currently at an advance stage with all documentation in place for funding applications from local financial institutions and/ or private investors.
